Watercolor Crash Course!
This abbreviated, introductory class will give you a watercolor experience without the requirement of previous art classes. Enjoy        an afternoon of fun while you learn watercolor

September 17 – October 01, Beginning Watercolor,
6:00 -9:00 p.m. Tuesday evenings at The Rankin, 1004 Broadway, 2nd floor studio.

This nine hour class covers all the basics; how to control the paint, how to mix colors using primary colors and the color wheel, and all four ways of applying paint to paper. Learn about your tools and materials and take home helpful handouts.

October 12     Drawing Crash Course!
12:30-4:30 Saturday at The Rankin,

Drawing Crash Course!  This four hour class is a great introduction to drawing if you’re a beginner and serves as a great review if you’ve drawn before. You will complete a series of exercises that focus on form, dimension, shading and basic perspective. You will also be introduced to the intuitive world of artists with exercises from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

October 26  NEW! Basic Drawing and Painting for Adults   6 hour workshop
Auburn University, 128 Biggin Hall 9:30-4:00, 1/2 hour lunch break.
In this adventurous one-day workshop you will have the opportunity to create your own painting. Your composition will include a building, sky, trees, land. The focus will be on arranging these elements, basic perspective, shading, and selecting a color scheme for your painting.

Tuition $89. includes all materials.
