Resistance is Real.
Having trouble making time for your art? You’re not alone. I’ve been listening to podcasts on this very subject. Artist after artist offer helpful suggestions to address this problem. Keeping your supplies ready and having a designated art space are two of the most useful. Showing up every day, if only for twenty minutes, is a tough one, but also very effective.

Award for Cat Brier, Hadden Woods, Brenda Stevens
I am honored to receive the Carmike Cinemas Corporate Sponsor’s Award for Cat Brier, Hadden Wood. This 11 x 14 watercolor sold for 100 volunteer hours at the 2014 Young Professionals “Time For Art” event in November. The highest bidder has one year to work their 100 volunteer hours for the local, charitable organization of their choice. I’ve had greeting cards made and plan to publish a limited edition print of Cat Brier.
